Goodness, Goodness! I have just spent a very enjoyable evening looking at all of your pictures. Thank you so much for sharing. What a trip! Memories for a life time. One note of interest - at one of the stores in Niagra Falls they sell a book called "Daredevils of the Falls". David's great,great uncle was one of them. He went over the falls in a barrel, having chained himself to the bottom of it. Needless to say, he didn't make it. One spectator commented that having 15 children might have had something to do with his "daring" act. We actually have the newspaper clipping. We enjoy your family so much - what a treat for us to see all of your pictures.

The Niagara Falls store our guide took us to had information, newspaper articles, and actual items used by quite a few who attempted to go down the Falls. Our guide also tried to tell us about each of the attempted stories--whether successful or not. Thus, we may have seen or heard about Uncle Dave's great, great uncle! If you are able to scan the newspaper clipping, I would be very interested in reading it! We think very highly of you both & thoroughly enjoyed the time you stopped to see us! Lots of love!
